Making calls from egypt

I have paid to make 60 mins of calls from Egypt to the UK.  Everytime I call the call immediately fails. Can anyone help ?

Does your phone show coverage indicators of a local network in Egypt?

If no - that will cause any calls or texts to fail, and would indicate that you haven't enabled the roaming facility.

Hi @KFerguson1974. 

If you have not enabled roaming on your EE account before leaving the UK you will need to speak with our customer care team who can activate this. 

I would recommend using our online chat service which can be located by logging in to your My EE account.

Easier said than done . I can’t even see an online chat service from the account .

Can no one do this remotely for me . I need to urgently call my parents which is why when I spoke to EE I paid for 60 mins of calls .

Unfortunately we have no account access here on the community so are unable to activate this for you. 

Once logged in to your online account when an agent is available the chat icon should appear.
