MMS/photo messaging

I have an iPhone 11 on contract.  For the last 16 months I have been able to send photo messages via text and iMessage.  However, in the last week it has stopped me doing that.  It just comes up with ! In a red circle and says it’s failed to send.  I have gone into settings and MMS is on and roaming data is too.  I can send photographs over iMessage both on Wi-Fi and 4g.  Anyone else have this problem? And know what I can do please? X

@Wytchbiker  An iMessage is completely different to MMS ( picture message) messages as iMessages go via cellular and MMS are chargeable.   Do you have a spend cap on your account?

No there is no spend cap on the account as far as I am aware I have never set one up

I have double checked and no there is no spend cap

Hi @Wytchbiker

Is it enabled in your Message settings?

Tap Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging > Switch this ON.

Thanks for checking @Wytchbiker

Does this happen with more than one number?

Are you in the UK or Roaming?

Leanne 🙂

Yes more than one number and not sur what you mean, I am in uk but I do have roaming switched on, on the phone

Thanks @Wytchbiker

If you give us a call on 150, the team will get your account looked into and run through some troubleshooting with you.

You only need Data Roaming switched on for when you are abroad.

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.
