Lost Phones

Like so many others, we lost our phone, but luckily, after a long search found it.  Deciding to introduce a system to help search for lost phones, we found so many apps, all needing money, that could locate a lost phone.  But we ask ourselves, if EE wants to be known as a caring company, why doesn't it provide a lost phone location as an additional service?  We are sure that many EE subscribers would be happy to take up such a service rather than be ripped off by external services with their high costs.  How about it EE  - Introduce a lost phone service for your customers - it would be appreciated and put you ahead of your rivals!

EE is a mobile network operator, and at the risk of sounding flippant, they do provide  system to help search for lost phones - you call the phone in question.

Both Android & Apple have in-built "find my phone" location-based services that perform the same function but will override any silent mode you may have set. This requires device-level functionality built into the OS and thus is not anything a network operator can offer.

Thanks for the speedy response - bring in our 80s. I afraid that modern technology is a steep learning curve.  A quick trip to the EE shop may be our best bet to get help with what you have suggested. Thanks again.
