International phone/data useage

Lou441
Explorer

Under controls on my phone I am not able to active international calls/data

In Switzerland recently I was unable to use data/connect to WiFi. Despite calling 150 there was no solution provided and am informed “it's all set up”

I moved to EE due to coverage where I live in UK but i need to be able to use my phone ANYWHERE in the world. So far very unimpressed with EE.

Hi @Lou441

You'll need to speak to EE as you might need to pay a deposit for using EE roaming benefit.

https://ee.co.uk/contact-ee/contacting-abroad/mobile

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone. You can call Freephone +44 800 079 8586 on Skype

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

I did speak to EE - for over 30 mins when I was stuck at Zurich airport with no means of contacting anyone. The response being I had international roaming…🤷‍♀️

Thanks for your reply

@Lou441 : If you can't enable the Roaming Abroad and the Call Abroad & Premium Rate settings of your online MyEE, you will need to call CS. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. over Skype. It should be free.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
