International calls

I am unable to make a call to an American number. I don’t want to buy a whole monthly package as I only want to make 1 call. How can I do this?

@Arushi : You don't need to buy a monthly pack just to make an overseas call. You can just make a chargeable call if you are on contract & it will be added to your bill or if you are on PAYG it will be taken from your PAYG credit.

International calls & texts to overseas nos. from UK can be rather expensive but EE has a free add-on that anyone, on PAYG or contract, can apply for to give these calls & texts at a fraction of the standard rates. See The Free CALL ABROAD Add-on for Cheap Calls/Texts from UK .

Firstly did you make sure that roaming and call abroad as well as premium calls are active on your account? Also how long ago have you had your plan? If before 7th July 2021, you should be able to use your minutes and data ok, otherwise this will cost you. 

If on pay as you go, then it should work, but would need to make sure that you have enough credit to make the call.

If you are having problems connecting to a network automatically, could you do a manual check to get a signal? You should normally have a signal there.

Just calling a US no. isn't roaming.

Have you got a Spend Cap set on your Account for the Sim Number your try to call from?
