International Calling

Hi

I have a Pay Monthly contract and I was very disappointed with EE, as whilst I was in Antigua neither my wife or I (Both on same EE account) could make any local calls, which was extremely frustrating.

Whilst in Antingua I texted Roaming to 150, and received an acknowledgement saying "Great your phone is now set up to be used for roaming in any country" - Sadly it was not!!!

Was I doing anything wrong?

I am very tempted to move to another provider where international calls are standard

@gaxor   Was you putting the area code in before you dialled the number   The area code is +1  then the number you was calling.

You obviously had a cellular connection and was connected to a network or your text wouldn’t have been sent.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
Yes. I couldn't see anything wrong with what I was doingThe number would ring once then dropKind regardsGary Ramsdale

Hi @gaxor,

I suspect there is an international calling bar on your account.

Our Customer Care Team will be happy to remove it if you get in touch.

Thanks

James
