I switched from a contract to PAYG about a year ago and ever since 99% of my incoming calls show as "Unknown" (weirdly the odd one will show up from a contact. Same number, same SIM, just telling the computer). Doesn't show any contacts or even just the number if not a contact. If they leave a message I will get a text from their number saying a message has been left.
Figuring the first thing I'd be asked to do was reset my phone I've lived with it but after recently resetting my phone it's still appears to be the same. I've seen another post on here with the exact issue after changing from a contract but the last word was "best speak to tech support" and it ended there. No email or messaging facility for EE tech support (really? 21st century and all that...) so figured I'd ask here before sitting on the phone for an hour. As much as liked the eighties having to answer every call just to see who it is is not really on my nostalgia trip.

This is a strange one.
If the port didn't fully complete originally, you would definitely need to speak to our tech team.
You could try getting a new SIM card to see if the problem is with the SIM and rule that out, since you've already reset the phone.

It is becase your iCloud/Google account isn't synced with your phone address book.
Sync your account and they problem with rectify itself.
