Hi,

I have landed in the US and I did not activate my roaming before I left. I have managed to activate my data roaming using Wi-Fi and the EE app, but I still cannot receive/send calls and text messages.

When I usually land in another country, I always get an SMS message from EE saying I've arrived in country XX and what the options are, but this time I did not get that message. I flew to the US this time with another EE customer and he had received that

I can't contact EE using 150, and there seems to be no one I can email. I urgently need to access my SMS as I need to confirm my identity via many apps.

Data roaming simply means using mobile data whilst roaming, in the same vein as voice-roaming is making calls whilst roaming.

If you've travelled abroad without enabling roaming, then you won't get a mobile network connection which will prevent calls, texts and mobile data.

What do you mean by activating data roaming using WiFi? If you are abroad and need to activate roaming, you can only do so by contacting EE CS from another means.
