I'm traveling in new Zealand at the moment and I changed to a pay as you go , I was told I have to make a text or phone call once a month to keep it active but every time I send a text it tells me phone number is formatted incorrectly and when I try and call it tells me calls to the number are blocked this happens even with all the contact numbers for ee so I can't contact them to ask why and I don't want my sim to get cancelled. They also don't have any other way of contacting them, no live chat nothing so I'm completely stuck. Idk what I'm supposed to do

It takes 30 days to cancel a contract & before it is moved to PAYG. Had that change taken place while abroad you can't now use it at all while abroad. To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

Bugger yeah no I only changed it a few days before I left but the guy on the phone didn't mention that else I would of left the sim at home 😕
Is there any way I can contact ee other than via phone? There's supposed to be a live chat but I've got the app and everything and I can't find it. I really can't have my contract terminated I've had the same one since I was a teenager I use the number for everything
