Not sure how to turn off my voicemail I have suddenly started getting voicemails?

I have sent dozens of times and it does not disable voice mail and do not resolve, I am ready to cancel my contract

Try texting VM ON to 150 followed by VM OFF.

Please can someone help me and just please turn off the content lock off. I'm 27 years old not that it means much as I am absolutely clueless. I have been trying to find the setting to turn it off for over an hour. Please can someone turn this off its driving me crazy. Thanks
