I tried texting WM OFF to 150, but all it did was disable my divert settings.
How can I truly turn off my voicemail? I don't want this service at all.

Thank you very much for your help, it only took about 15 seconds after 15 minutes on my mobile listening to various options on your recorded system and getting nowhere.

Texts to 150 when abroad may not work.

I would recommend logging in to your My EE account and accessing our live chat service so our customer care team can help remove this for you.
