I signed up for a ROAM ABROAD PASS when in UK and this shows My EE as active but I am now in France and do not have any roaming service, I can use hotel Wifi though.
Why us this?? Can you rectify it at your end??

Could I confirm if you are pay as you go or pay monthly?
If you are pay monthly when you purchased the pass did you also activate roaming by texting ROAMING to 150 or by giving us a call?

The Roam Abroad pass is just a billing add-on.
It is the roaming facility which enables your phone to connect to foreign networks. If this hasn't been done, this can only be activated via CS
