I’m relatively new to EE and haven’t traveled since lockdown. But I forgot to turn on data roaming in my account settings before leaving the UK for France. My phone hasn’t connected to the local network; no text message when I arrived, no service, nothing. Once I got on Wi-fi I changed my account settings to allow data roaming but nothing has activated yet.
is there something more I need to do?

@bmcarthur You need to make sure that you have enabled both toggles within your account both are under roaming. You also need to allow up to 24 hours for it to activate and try restarting your device.

I have the same.issue in Greece now. My husband's phone is on my account but he is unable to access a network. Data roaming is on but he only has emergency calls. Y phone has such connected so I don't understand why his hasn't. Tried restart, off and back on, but no luck. Any help great appreciated 👍

Is roaming enabled in your My EE Account?
What phone is he using?
Have you tried manually connecting to another network?
