Extend ring time before voicemail kicks in...

Due to recent health issues my mobility is severely effected. This means I often now miss calls as I don't reach phone in time. I understand that the length of 'ring is a function of network rather than phone.How do I extend the duration of my phone ringing? Phone is running Android 10.

If you offer me a 'dial code' can you also post a 'default code so I can get back to 'normal' if needs be? I do not want to switch voice mail off.

The network default is, I believe, 25seconds although I've a vague recollection of 20seconds being cite. It can be altered in 5 second increments to an absolute maximum of 30seconds

*61*[+447953222222]*11*[25]# where +447.... is the voicemail number and [25] is the required delay time.

There is a '+' sign in the sequence but my keyboard doesn't display a '+' sign, there is a + below the 0, but typing it just enters a 0?

Just had a thought, post 'stroke' my hand has a tremor and I find it difficult to follow a long sequence of numbers on phone. Is this something that if I dialed 150 they can reset for me?

I'm sorry to hear of your health issues and I appreciate it can present new challenges for you. 

Our teams over the phone aren't able to change any call forwarding settings on your behalf, even voicemail settings. 

Do you have someone at home who can help with this or are you able to pop into an EE store who can help find the buttons you need?

No I don't, and I'd be loathed to seek help from a medical professional (district nurse) who visits. In 2026 I'm' just amused you can't alter such a simple feature, or provide a dial code to activate! Being housebound I am also unable to pop into an EE store. Not sure what 'buttons' you think I need to find?

My apologies @stephen5000, I read that as you being unable to locate the + to complete the steps @bristolian had sent. 

I understand it is disappointing that our guides cannot amend call forwarding settings.
