I was moved over from BT when my contract was up and got free roaming, double data etc. Before I went to Spain last week I contacted EE regards roaming saying that I had a zero spend cap and was told it didn’t matter. When in Spain I got a text saying I needed a spend cap set at a limit of £20 to continue with service.
I couldn’t do this as I was completely cut off and couldn’t use my phone or my wife’s who is on the same contract. I tried to contact someone but it is virtually impossible to talk to someone. I’m only writing this form because I can’t find a number to speak to a human. If you phone 150 you only get a text message and that’s it, if your enquiry is not on the list it’s basically get lost!
I can’t change from EE without paying £148 so I feel the service has gone downhill since my days with BT.

You can manage your spend cap in the My EE app - go to Mobile Plan > Settings > Spend Cap
