Hi
Sky have sent me a number to text them to help resolve some billing issues. the number starts 4486 and ends 5492 and is 11 digits long. I've tried to send them the text they require but I get "Cant send message with EE Error code 0. I've tried a couple of the suggested fixes (removed one messaging app, send UNBAR to 150) but still wont send. Further having tried to send a message I've got "This message is from an unsaved number, Beare of smishing and phising" Now I havn't had a message just tried to send one? Any thoughts?

The '44' is the UK country code. You are being asked to text a UK 086 no. (which is chargeable). Either replace the '44' by '0' (no. should then be 11 digits long) or precede the '44' by '+' (no. should then be 12 digits long after the '+').
However I doubt you were being asked to text an 086 no. These Service Nos. only start with 085 or 087.

Thanks for your response but after looking at the number for an hour it dawned on me that it was a mobile number but the 7 was missing. Put it in and of course message was sent no problem.
Tnanks anyway for taking the time to message.
