EE Wifi-Calling - IP geolocation restriction issue

Hello

We are having problems with EE wifi-calling at our company because I'm fairly certain it's due to our Internet connection having an IP address range registered in the US yet our Internet connection is in the UK.  I understand that EE's wifi-calling performs geolocation lookups at their 'evolved Packet Data Gateway' (ePDG) firewalls and is rejecting connections attempts from any EE phones because of this.  We have contacted ARIN to have our range re-registered as being in the UK (range originally from our American parent company).  Is there anyone I can contact within EE to have our IPv4 range re-registered within EE as belonging to the UK and allowing wifi-calling from that range? Many thanks

Hi @Gozzie0
Welcome to the community.

It sounds to me like you've done the right thing in trying to get the IP location updated through ARIN. The best advice I can give around getting the IPv4 range updated, is a registered contact speaking with our business customer support team. They'll be able to raise this as a case from our side.

Ok, that was over an hour spent on the phone to various EE departments getting absolutely nowhere with this issue.  I tried calling the numbers on the links provided above.  158 wouldn't connect as I'm a retail EE customer and not a business customer.  The 0800 number connected me to Business Sales but I was told I need to speak to EE retail and was transferred.  After explaining the situation a third time, got transferred to someone in L1 tech support (Daniel in Ireland).  After he went through the standard L1 troubleshooting process, I was told there was no way I would be able to get a case opened with L2 EE tech as wifi-calling is only there to support domestic home customers and not EE customers working from their workplace.  I asked who I could escalate this issue to so was transferred to his team leader Vitali?  Vitalijs? who then went on to say that he could not progress the conversation any further and was I had to go through MY OWN HR department who should then speak to EE HR department as I apparently don't have any authority to speak on behalf of my own company.  I've heard a lot of reasons why tech support teams can't be bothered to help customers but that one is hilarious.  I am the Lead Technical contact for our company in the UK.

As I pointed out on the call, we have several hundred (~800) employees in this building that are retail customers with EE, some of which have already and some considering moving away from EE to other providers who's wifi-calling works within our building.  Our building seats about 3000 staff.  Wifi-calling works with Three, Vodafone & Virgin Media O2 - just not with EE

Oh and ARIN database how now updated btw.

How on earth do I progress this issue now?  My company doesn't hold a business relationship with EE unfortunately, so I'm just being treated as retail customer with no authority.
