EE WI-FI now I understand it’s not the same as EE Wi-Fi boost

I have just realised when I see. EE  WI-FI  on my mobile that I have to pay for an hour at £4.99 so even as I pay £150 a month for my mobile contract and smart 5gggg router I have to be a broadband landline customer with either BT or EE . I find the way they have separated  WiFi coverage boost and payg  EE Wi-Fi hotspots as confusing and misleading and just another way to get EE contract customers to pay more . Anyone disagree ?

I agree it is confusing which is which & also whether WiFi on the London Underground is part of 1 of them.
