I've recently moved to EE, due to the advertised better coverage, and better service. Since moveing to EE, i've been having issues receiving messages from service providers, such as verification messages. Does EE implement a Block on verification messages, and how can i remove this block?

No, we don't place a block on verification texts.
After porting your number, it may take a little time for automated text services to pick up the change in network routing.

Heya James,
Thanks for your response, I've been in contact with one of the service providers that I'm unable to get verification codes from, and they have replied saying its a known issue with EE, that they send the messages but its blocked by a relatively new firewall that EE have implemented to block messages from senders with certain names, such as auth-sms etc...

I'm not aware of any known issues with receiving OTP texts. I've tested a few myself and they're working as they should.
If the issue doesn't resolve itself within 48 hours, our Technical Support Team will be happy to take a look at it for you.
