EE Roaming in mexico

Hi there, I’ll be going on holiday to Mexico soon. I’m not on a smart benefit plan but I know EE do a roaming pass for Mexico where by I can use my allowances just like I would at home. 

My current contract started back in April 2021  and I have 2 sims, one in my phone and the other in our iPad. I have a couple of questions about it all and I’d be very grateful if someone could advise please?

• Do I ask for Roam Abroad or Roam Further pass?
• How long will it take for the roaming pass to activate before I can use it?
• Will I be charged for phoning Mexican numbers, as I’ll probably be booking taxis back to our hotel, etc
• When I’m in Mexico, can I gift data from my phone to the iPad just like I can at home

It’s active the moment you purchase it.
