I'm not sure if this is a problem with my phone settings, or if it's a problem with the wifi, as I have seen a lot of posts about how bad the wifi is lately.
Anyway, I have a Pixel 8 pro, I connected to the EE Wifi Auto network, set the EAP method to SIM,and it tries to connect, usually getting as far as saying 'obtaining an IP address' then it just disconnects.
The instructions EE provide also say to set the access method to EAP, but I can't see a setting for this. So I assume it's not needed on the Pixel 8 Pro?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Lee

Hey there @Bozo_ , thanks for reaching out to us about this 😊
Let's see if we can get this up and running as it should be for you!
Has the Underground WiFi worked with this phone in the past?
Is it just the one station you've noticed this issue with too, or is it the same no matter where you try to connect?

This is the first time I've tried to use this phone on the underground, I've tried it at multiple stations.

Thanks @Bozo_.
Can you please check to make sure your phone is fully up to date.
If that's all good to go, it's also worth forgetting the network in your phone's settings, then trying to set this up as a fresh connection.

The phone is up to date and I've tried forgetting the network and re-adding but it's still the same.

Thanks for giving that a go, @Bozo_.
Is it pay as you go or pay monthly that you're on right now?

Cheers @Bozo_
Based on what you've described here everything sounds good with how it's set up at your end, so as a next step I think it'd be best to check everything at our end too.
If you give our technical team a shout, they can check this all out and make sure we get this sorted 😊
