I have 298 websites hosted on SiteGround. Any client using EE Mobile cannot access their website. SiteGround support said because the SiteGround support team is in Bulgaria, they cannot identify the issue with EE because they do not have access to EE mobile phone. This is ridiculous, I will take legal action for damaging my business.

It's irresponsible that both Siteground & EE have not made any statements, acknowledgements or provided any update whatsoever, I've left siteground due to lack of updates and communication now. No email notification of the outage, no service update. So on so forth.

Since EE was acquired by BT, the quality of service has been steadily declining, and frankly, this situation feels like the tipping point for me. I have five accounts with EE, and I run a business that relies heavily on SiteGround. On top of that, I manage hosting for several other businesses that depend on me.
I have clients who are unable to access their emails or websites due to issues with their EE routers and SIMs, and this has been ongoing since Friday. When can we expect a resolution?
I’m in the planning process of moving all my websites to Cloudflare, as it seems like the most straightforward and least disruptive solution. However, I would prefer to avoid this if there is any chance of getting some clarity from EE on what's happening and when a fix will be in place.
EE, it’s time to back up your marketing claims: "EE, part of BT Group, is the largest and most advanced mobile communications company in the UK" and "Here for you – Supporting your needs."
At the end of the day, people judge companies based on their actions, not just their words.

It is ridiculous really that this has all been kept so quiet when it’s caused so much damage to people’s businesses and livelihoods. It’s incredibly anxiety provoking not knowing if or when it’s going to be resolved…

Need to get the issue out there and getting noticed by lots of people -they aren't bothered about us until it is visible publicly across their online presence. The fact we have no official statement is a joke, at least Siteground have come out and are responding to posts about it on X - much more than can be said for BT/EE.
EE are not really dealing with this with any sense of urgency - EVERYONE needs to get online and begin posting on twitter/X tagging them in and complaining. If we all use the same # at the end of the post it should at least be a coordinated complaint and possibly we can get it trending to get them to act more urgently but it only works if everyone gets onboard with it.

Thanks Steve. Really appreciate the feedback. Makes sense, but of course despite whose actually at fault, only EE networks team are able to carry out the tests needed, and to raise it with the upstream providers where the routing issue is occurring.
in case it's of any help. I had a laptop connected on a 5GEE router using an EE SIM which has the issue. I can't ping the website (Dartmoorgliding.co.uk), but I also can't ping either ns1.siteground.net or ns2.siteground.net, so it's possible that EE DNS correctly refers the DNS query to ns1.siteground.net as the authoritative DNS for the domain, but then our machines cannot reach that DNS server for a DNS query. So then fails to resolve the IP addresses. However if we bypass EE DNS initially, by using google DNS 8.8.8.8 on the laptop, then both ns1.siteground.net and dartmoorGliding.co.uk return a ping. So I wondered if you are looking for a specific issue that is blocking DNS requests, since other traffic can reach either the DNS server and the web servers at siteground. Must admit I'm not exactly clear whether the onward DNS query is done from EE DNS server, or referred back to the client device to do that.
Hopefully your guys are on it anyway. Thanks for your help.

Yes, click the name (handle) of the person you want to message, then you'll see you can send them a message. If you want me to check for you I can do that. So just PM me or Steve-BT as he offered.

I can't believe it's been almost a week and yet completely unsolved. This is simply unacceptable, from both Siteground and EE. I'm not a technical person, I only googled to change my DNS on the laptop to 8.8.8.8 so that I could keep updating my site. But I was in the middle of designing my mobile site, and suddenly I couldn't do anything. My mobile provider is Lycamobile but the phone shows EE so I suppose that's that. Really disappointed.
Anyone knows another place for hosting? I feel it's a bit unfair to Siteground if the problem is from EE. But honestly both EE and Siteground should have had better customer support, at least sending an email or some announcement to acknowledge the problem!
Unbelievable.😐

I've just moved our sites to Krystal.io they have UK based fast servers. Decent price point and good speed tests. Yes it's a shame, I would have stayed if Siteground released updates, acknowledgement or even made a statement of some sort. It's the fact we're in the dark. Terrible service indeed.

I've reached out to the press. Hopefully they will pick it up, I suggest others do the same. An easy one is contacting BBC, they have a WhatsApp number and email address that you can Google. No doubt EE will also delete this comment though so act quick and spread the word.

Hi
I have a siteground account to host my business site - I could access the site but SiteTools were not accessible so I could not 301 redirect/check file manager etc... Siteground were really helpful, and asked me to access via my Vodafone mobile device and hey presto, I had full access - so it was EE all along...
Thanks EE for hiding the truth - very sketchy,
