Hello, I wanted to ask about instances of SMS messages deleted from my device.
My ex-partner may have deleted our message history on two occasions that is preventing me from accessing the record of our communications for legal purposes.
The first instance was on 23.11.21
The second on 12.08.22
Is there any possibility of retrieving the data? What other information would you need?
We used to have joint accounts in her name and I set up a new account solely in my name.

Unfortunately there is no way of retrieving messages once deleted. The only way is for your solicitor to retrieve them via a court order or witness summons:

@ASAC : Even a legal process cannot obtain these SMS. EE does not retain the contents of SMS once delivered as they are not required by law to store them, only their metadata like when & who.
