My daughter is in EU and can’t set up her data roaming. She texts 150 and it doesn’t accept the text. What choices does she have? Thanks

@Eshills  You setup roaming by text before you leave the UK,  how do you send a text or make a call when roaming isn’t enabled in the first place on the account.     Roaming is the ability to connect to a local network in that location and to have that ability you need to have the option enabled on the account first.         You can’t text there is no network connection, you can’t use WiFi calling as it’s only works within the UK.  Your daughter could use live chat via the EE app under help if the option is there to live chat with customer services.   Alternatively, she will need to use a different phone to cool customer services from abroad

You can either contact +44 7953 966150 from another working phone, or +44 800 0798586 using a web-calling app such as Skype over WiFi.

Just to add you put data roaming that’s just the ability to use data when abroad.  It’s just “roaming”

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Eshills

If you're the bill payer then call EE on 150 and activate roaming.

Thanks

Thanks but she’s the bill payer, and her phone isn’t working except on WiFi but even then the texts just aren’t doing anything 😔
