my iPhone 13 shows I have 4/5g and a carrier but am unable to surf the net or get connected at all any suggestions?

Did you purchase the Roam like home add-on to use your pack allowance in Spain?

Can you try manually searching for another network in Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection, does this work for you?

Tried that no good, now have received a message that if I want to use data 
I need to purchase an add on which I already have--
