I'm in Florence and can't access the ee network have turned roaming etc on and turned phone off and on again but can't make calls and can only connect to hotel WiFi

@Mrsninja : Are you on contract or PAYG? Did you use that SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad?

If you are on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c.

Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.

Hi I am in Italy my network went off yesterday and I was signed onto iliad as recommended but now that is unavailable as well. when is this getting sorted as i do need my phone?

Are you able to connect to any other available networks?

Do you know of anyone else using a UK phone having the same problem?

Hi I have logged onto I Tim but that dropped out as well my husband is on virgin but his phone is working

Did you get this sorted? I'm on Italy too and have no coverage / won't select any networks. I have roaming activated etc- any suggestions?

Welcome to the community.

Have you had access to any of the networks since you've been there? Have you tried both TIM and Iliad networks?

Hi All,

My phone stopped working from yesterday, no signal, no possibility make/receiving calls, sending/receiving texts. Is there an issue in Italy right now?

Are you able to try manually searching and connecting to another network and see if you still have no signal?

Hi, I'd be grateful for some help as my broadband has stopped connecting entirely after a few weeks in Italy. I have no signal at all. I had no issues with roaming before this and could use my data unlimitedly. Could it be because I've stayed for too long outside of the UK (it's been less than a month).

I can't call the EE sorry team as I have no signal at all and their messaging function is unavailable. 

Had this happened to anyone? Any help appreciated!
