Codes

I've been having the same issue for 10 days now. I switched to Lyca, and both EE Customer Service and EE Store acted like they were hearing about it for the first time. They said they were looking into it, but I haven't heard back yet. They opened a case last Saturday. I think I'm not receiving texts from not just EE but multiple sources. Since it hasn't been 14 days yet, I've decided to switch to another network. Now, I can't even get a PAC code, which is ridiculous. I need to log into my EE account to request a PAC code, but I can't link my plan because the OTP doesn't come. I requested the PAC code by calling 150, and they said I would get it within 72 hours. I'm on day 9 now, got the code two days later, and they asked for a £387.58 early termination fee. I called 150, they admitted there was a mix-up and said they would send a new PAC code. They claimed they sent it, but I haven't received anything. I called again and said I need the PAC code. They told me they would look into it within 72 hours. The problem is, my 14-day window will expire after 72 hours. EE has really worn me out.

Hi @caneraras

I'm sorry to hear that you're having some issue with receiving text messages. It sounds from your description that a ticket has been opened for our technical teams to try and fix this for you. Hopefully, it'll be sorted soon.

Did you take out your contract in-store, over the phone or through the EE website? The 14 day change of mind policy only applies to orders made over the phone or website. If you did order that way, you can request a return and PAC code through this EE returns form

Chris

hi, I ordered a SIM from ee.co.uk, and they claim to have sent me a PAC, but I haven’t received it yet. Additionally, I got a message from EE saying that if I stay with them, they have a great offer for me. To see this offer, I need to log in to ee.co.uk, but even if I log in, I can’t link my account, so the offer is meaningless. I feel like I’m stuck in an endless loop 🙂

Thanks for confirming, @caneraras.

If you fill in that form that I posted, it'll be logged and time-stamped within your 14 day period.

The only other thing I can suggest is filling in our complaint form so that our complaints team can look into this whole experience and help you with get the messaging issue sorted or provide you with the PAC.

Keep us updated with what happens please.

Thank you for your time @Christopher_G , the cases had already been opened in 3-4 different ways, I had also complained via the link you mentioned. I hope it will be resolved soon, since it has not been resolved, the representative I spoke to reminded me again that there are terms and conditions for me to pay the fee, so they want me to pay this fee, it is complete nonsense.

It's good that you have these complaints logged against your account, @caneraras

Please keep the thread updated with what happens in the next couple of days. Fingers crossed at that point, it's all sorted.

Chris
