Changed handset- now some contacts not receiving texts - error 0

Replaced old handset (Samsung A7) with new one from Honor, I have a couple of contacts  who can text me but I'm unable to text them (one on EE and other with Sky), I receive texts from them. I briefly see a message with error 0 appear when the send fails.

Phone upto date and rebooted a few times.

Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

yes the handset is in the UK as is the other EE contact. Found out the SKY contact had an old number stored, so it now works.

I was able to put the sim in the old phone, it behaves the same way.

The contract is monthly.

thanks Chris, yes that number was the same.

The issue seems to be resolved now, doubt its unconnected .... apparently there was an issue with the payment (company supply phone/sim).
