Cannot delete a voicemail

I have received a voicemail from AA and cannot delete it. When I listen to it it gives me options to speak to someone. Usually when you finish listening you get the options of 1, 2 or 3 and usually 3 deletes but it won't accept it and repeats the options 1 or 2 to speak to someone.

Help! It's driving me mad showing the voicemail icon.

Hi @Snooze 

Try restarting your device, then trying again. 

If not then turn off voicemail (VM OFF restart) then VM On to reactivate.

Hi. Northern Star - it didn't work.

Can anybody tell me how to delete a voicemail that won't let me press 3. It starts speaking and gives options to speak to people. If I wait for the message to end so I can delete, it just repeats tge message. It says it's from AA.

I have a Samsung.

Yes. Normally I can listen and then after the message finishes wait for the options 1, 2 or 3. 3 to delete. This message talks and gives options to speak to somebody but never ends and either goes on a loop repeating the message or hangs up. I never get the option to delete. I had this exact message about a year ago and sorted it (after a lot of enquiries) but can't remember how.

Are you able to save the message, hang up & redial, and then delete it from the saved folder instead?

No. The message doesn't end, just loops so I never get to the options to save or delete.
