I've been using Messages and sending and receiving texts fine, until today. Now when I try to send one I get the error message: Can't send message with EE - error 0.
I can't change the SMSC as that option is greyed out on my phone.
Is there another way I can change the SMSC, please?

Switching to Samsung Messages also worked for me to do thanks for posting question/ solution.
And it was same phone scenario...S20 to S22 Ultra.
And it was also radio comp I was trying to enter.... Metro Radio Cash Register....
Fingers crossed I now get the call...£100k
Wow this could be a sign...

I had this exact same problem , I found by changing the messenger app and set new app as default cured the problem.
Galaxy A52s 5G

Hi @Faisal2222
Thanks for coming here.
What model phone are you using?
Does this error message show for all texts that you send?
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.

I have been trying this morning to send a text message to a mobile number but just continually get the can't send message with ee - error 0. I have tried restarting my phone, deleting and readding the contact but with not success.

Hi @ChazaD,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Are you only having issues texting one particular contact or is it the same with all numbers?

I had this problem for a while and all I done to fix it, after many different efforts, was add a 0 at the start of the person's phone number. So it was 07... and not 7...

Well, @MichaelKing , it would! Mobile nos. don't just start with a '7'. You need to correct that person's no. in your Contacts.
