Can I change a mobile number and still keep the same contract?

There seem to be a lot of hoax calls these days it's mad, anyone know if I can change my mobile number and still keep the same contract?

EE will change your number for a fee, but if you are getting abusive calls they may do it for free.
It's usually cheaper/easier to get a PAYG number on another network and PAC it over to EE if you want to just change your number which you can do at any time. The cost for this is probably less than EE will charge. However, there's nothing to stop the new number getting random spam.
