Calls from people claiming I called them

I am receiving several calls each day from people who claim that I called them. I am aware that this is the result of a common scam where my number is being mimicked, but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do about this?

It's not an option for me to screen calls from unknown numbers because I occasionally use my phone for work and need to take calls from non-contacts. Of course, I do not share any personal information with callers. If it was just an occasional issue, I wouldn't mind, but it's several times a day and quite disruptive.

@danieljbec  unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it, unless you want to change your number.    Hopefully those doing it will move on and pick on some other poor soul.
