Calls abroad

Hello, I am currently in the US and although I can use data, I can’t seem to make calls (not even to voicemail). My roaming is switched on in the settings section of my phone and it’s automatically connected to AT&T, but nothing is working.

Roaming isn't a phone setting, but a network-level permission. The same goes for making calls whilst connected to foreign networks.

Are you on pay-monthly or PAYG? PAYG is auto-enabled for roaming and could make this a local network issue.

If you're on pay-monthly, then you can login to your myEE online account, navigate to "parental & data controls", and ensure that "international roaming" & "call abroad & premium rate" are both enabled.
