Calling from abroad

Kezstrel

I’m currently in the Netherlands and can’t call any number, not even back to the UK. I’ve been using my mobile for years and never had an issue calling abroad.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro and have been on the same contract for years. I’ve already turned the phone off and on again but it made no difference. When I try to call, it says ‘you have no access to this number, call customer service on 1200’, but when I do it doesn’t work.

can anyone help?

Calling abroad from the UK is different to using your phone whilst abroad.

You mentioned being on pay-monthly, is roaming enabled on your account? If not, you will need to contact EE CS from another phone or web-calling-app to enable roaming.

If roaming is enabled, then it could be a problem with the local network in your country - try manually selecting a different one.

Sorry I meant I’d never had an issue calling from abroad before.

Have tried manually selecting a network but that hasn’t worked either, so looks like I’ll have to call from another number.

super frustrating but thank you.

Hi @Kezstrel

Do you have signal showing?

Can you send texts?

Leanne 🙂
