Calling USA from EU

I am in Italy and need to call the USA. Is there an add on which covers this?

No, not specifically. You pay a roaming charge per min. You will need to pay the charges as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/italy.

There are add-ons for calling internationally from the UK, and also for "call minutes while abroad", but within the EU I suspect you just fall into the "calling anywhere other than within the Europe zone" category.
