I have a problem calling my mum on my Samsung phone. It connects, I can hear her, she can't hear me and then it disconnects about 10seconds later. No problem with husband's Samsung phone which is also with EE. Only thing different I can think of is that I also have an NHS account with EE on my phone.

Firstly any discounts you have on your account won't be making any difference to this.
There's a few things that could potentially cause this, but in the interests of keeping this simple - you've said that one EE phone in your home has problems with calls and the other doesn't.
I would recommend swapping the 2 SIMs between your 2 phones, and see if the fault follows the SIM to the other phone, or remains with the same phone regardless of SIM.
Once you know whether the problem is following the SIM or the phone, further advice/questions can follow.
