Hello
I have the EE International Pass Add-On which brings down international calling prices, but it does not change the price of international SMS. EE charges 89p per text for international SMS to the USA. O2's equivalent plan changes 16p per text, albeit for £3 per month rather than £2. Are there any EE plans that offer half-sensible international SMS pricing? I've looked and not found it, but looking for a second opinion in case I've missed it.
I know the right answer is to get everyone else involved to use any one of a many apps (whatsapp, Google Chat, messenger, Telegram, Signal, ...), but there's a family event going down and all of the family overseas are on a different ecosystem. The hassle of getting all involved to install an additional app is fairly high. The RCS / iMessage mess is just painful.
Thanks in advance

On the telephone again, different agent - Yes, you want the 250ROW, that is the best plan for your usage.
We're golden. I'll have to call to remove it, but it should be fine here on.

Those are not the 250 UK to Rest of World (ROW) mins & SMS Add-On. Those are International Calling add-on w/out any SMS, invoked by texting 250INTL2 or 500INTL1 as in EE Calling Abroad

Thanks, I'll use that in future. I did try deleting the post as soon as I realized my mistake, but that gave a permission error.
