I am trying to upgrade my phone but it is saying I am not the account holder. When I first bought this phone (Samsung galaxy 21 ultra) i took the contract out under my name so I dont understand why it isn't letting me upgrade.

It is becase you set your account up as a user not an bill payer.
You need to log into your online account then go to Account Settings and change your access from user to bill payer.
