A number claiming to be from EE keeps ringing…

Hello 😊

I upgraded my phone and plan in August and ever since, I have been hounded with calls from a number that claims to be from EE. The number is 01942 901392 which is located in Wigan.
I did answer it once and they asked me for security questions to which I panicked and said I wasn’t available to talk and it would be best if they could call me back. However I haven’t answered any of their calls.
I receive a call a day, sometimes two. Is this a legit number from EE? I’m not sure why they want to speak to me - everything is fine my end.

many thanks!

@arctichelen_  If your not excepting the call treat it as a scam.   Especially when they ask for passwords,

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

This reply says the number is good and to block in to successive paragraphs. Which is it

If you can, try and get scam guard added to your mobile, I don’t know if it’s available for landline.

Or TPS your number
