2$ roam abroad

What if I have the 2$ roaming add on and I need to roam abroad for less than a minute to just load one webpage for example, does it still cost 2 whole pounds? This happened to me today while I was abroad in Austria, I just loaded one quick thing then switched off roaming a few seconds later and it doesn't appear on my bill? Does that mean I can roam abroad just for a few minutes without paying?

@Jimbobner : You'll still pay £2 for the day. It's £2 for any day that you use any of your UK allowance, however small.

Then why didn't I get billed extra it still shows 0.00 extra costs on my account??

You haven't yet had your monthly bill & the day is not done. They probably bill it all together.
