Now that iOS 18 is released we can now see that the iPhone supports RCS messaging in the UK!
We can now send high quality images, group messages with other iOS and Android users.
Also, I assume that if I have an iOS 18 iPhone under contract and am roaming abroad (e.g. USA) that I can send RCS messages from there to another other RCS user globally with out any additional fees (as long as I am using Wi-Fi or roaming data). For example, I should be able to text another RCS user in Brazil?
I know that this is the case from Android to Android users (via Google Messages), but looking for confirmation that when using an iPhone with RCS on EE the same would apply.
Thank you and happy RCS texting!

Hi @jeremys81
Yes to answer your question in theory messaging across platforms on RCS should be free regardless of your location if you have access to data and use an RCS client.
In practice you'll need to try it out.
Thanks
