emergency calls only

My phone is not connecting to the network, I have restarted it several times but still no luck. not sure what else i can do

Do you know anyone else locally who uses EE, who is also having problems? There may be an issue in your area - use "check status" on https://coverage.ee.co.uk/coverage/ee in the first instance.

coverage is fine in the area, I have drove from one side of Birmingham to another and i still have no network

Are you reporting an apparent lack of coverage in locations there should be?

Or problems making calls when coverage is displayed?

My phone wont connect to the network at all. i have had the same phone and same sim for over two years but all of a sudden today i cant connect. my phone is important for me to complete my daily work.

Its not about coverage, as i stated in my initial post my phone will not connect to the netwoprk at all

Do you have any outstanding bills?

Has your phone showed any notifications to indicate it doesn't recognise your SIM?

no to either of those, it just says emergency calls only. no network bars. when i go to the sim menu it recognises it
