WiFi calling

WiFi calling is available on my Moto g8 Plus, but not on my wife's Moto g9 Plus. We're both on PAYG, but I have a Subscription Pack. Is that why, or is it to do with phone models?

Thanks and Happy New Year

Swapping SIMs in various combinations didn't do the trick.

Interesting that your iPhone isn't listed but works

@BoyJohn  Ask your wife to call customer services to check that Wi-Fi calling is enabled on her account.   Where was this device purchased from ?

If it wasn’t from EE it might just need to be flashed with EE branded Android.   Not all Android devices will work with WiFi calling unless it came from EE so that service can be installed on the device.

Thanks, Chris_B, that's interesting, and helpful.

No the phone wasn't bought from EE, so I'll ask them if it can be flashed with EE Android.

Thanks again

The tech team were brilliant and extremely patient sorting this out. Seems it's a fault on the phone

Thanks for coming back and letting us know @BoyJohn

Leanne 🙂

A bit late, but I have an identical issue with my 9G9Plus. We're you able to get it working or did they conclude that there was a problem with the phone and WiFi calling  is not able to work?
