SIM Locked, phone requesting PUK. Have no working phone to call EE

My phone ran out of battery and when I powered it back on it asked for a SIM PIN. I have no recollection of ever setting up a SIM PIN so i tried 0000, 1111 etc and now is locked and phone asking for PUK. Please help as I need phone to be working to coordinate childcare with ex-wife

The default SIM PIN is 1111. You have 10 attempts to enter your PUK before the SIM will be permanently blocked. The PUK is available on your myEE online account > Plans & subscriptions > Phones & Devices > Unlock your SIM
