Wi-Fi calling

EE told me to turn off my signal

booster and start using Wi-Fi calling. I’ve done this but Wi-Fi calling isn’t working. I’ve enabled it on my iPhone se and my broadband is working fine. I have no speed issues at all with my router. I’ve tried everything, restarting router and phone and still it’s not working. My WhatsApp work perfectly so what’s going on EE?

Me too. Tried rebooting phone etc and wifi calling still not working. Definitely not a broadband (Virgin) issue as my wife’s phone on the Three network is fine. I suspect EE are having network problems.

I can confirm that I also have no Wi-Fi calling today, very annoying.

Can you use WiFi-calling on other routers/WiFi-spots?

I only have 1 router. My household sky router

Not just me then. Is this a regional thing? I'm south Midlands.

Was working fine - then cut out mid call about an hour ago.

Tried resetting wifi / phone / tried spare iphone 8 / airplane mode / reset 'wifi calling enabled'- no joy.

If i go outside I get enough signal to make a call, but not inside.

Wifi & internet are all working fine. Just the phone that says 'emergency calls only' or just the EE icon where it usually says 'wificalling'

I too have lost WiFi Calling this afternoon but can still use internet and WhatsApp via wifi (from the same phone). I'm in the Peterborough area. Frustrating as I have virtually no EE mobile signal where I live.

Thanks - thats the same as me then.

Slightly concerning - when I tried the EE system check it said a fault had recently been repaired in my area... so have they made something worse? (there is virtually no signal so they havent made it better!)...

..automatic email suggest activating wifi calling... which would be ideal 😫

I've had the same problem in Lancashire. On the phone to EE today and they said they're ceasing the servicing of signal boosters. Operator told me to turn off signal booster and turn on WiFi calling. I did this but nothing! Basically have a very expensive browser now!

it sounds like EE have been having problems today - annoying that I'll have to wait until the morning to find out of I'll be able to work tomorrow.

I wasn't using a booster box - all though it helps I have had to resort to a repeater from outside just to get enough signal for the phone to work.

As said above - its just the Call Over Wifi that don't work this evening - everything else fine. (although thats the vital part!)
