EE told me to turn off my signal 

booster and start using Wi-Fi calling. I’ve done this but Wi-Fi calling isn’t working. I’ve enabled it on my iPhone se and my broadband is working fine. I have no speed issues at all with my router. I’ve tried everything, restarting router and phone and still it’s not working. My WhatsApp work perfectly so what’s going on EE?

Last night I had no WiFi calling at home despite good WiFi connection.  I have no network connection otherwise due to no coverage in the area.

With the discontinuation of the signal box service this rendered me uncontactable.

This morning all is working fine.

Anyone else had this issue?

Same here. WiFi calling dropped last night but working today.

 

I am very concerned as I missed vital sms messages last night. 

 

Until last week I had a signal box which worked well for many years. EE discontinued the service without any notice last week. This necessitated me buying a new phone as despite my old phone (Oneplus 3T) having WiFi calling capability EE could not support.

I thought that the issue must have been phone related last night, but am reassured now that working this morning. 

 

Discontinuing signal box is a backwards step resulting in poor service. EE should review this decision.

There was a network issue yesterday (as per many threads on the forum) and it now seems to be resolved. I now have WiFi calling back as well.

 

Given how rarely EE network is down it seems to be back now.

VoWiFi available again this morning after restarting my phone.

Try restarting your device as the service seems to have returned now.

 

It is very rare EE network is down. 

 

And for those complaining about the signal box,. That wouldn't have worked if the network was down.

But why did my wife and sons iPhone all work with wifi calling last night but my android didn't? Wouldn't network signal affect all?

 

I had a signal box until EE discontinued last week (necessitating me buying a new phone).  3 days later I was left with no phone or text service.

If network was down how did 3 out of 4 phones in household still have WiFi calling last night?

 

And it's a very unfortunate coincidence if signal box wouldn't have worked either as this was the first time I have lost all phone and sms service for years but less than one week after signal box turned off.
