I can certainly answer your questions around EE Broadband, another user may come along to give better advice on your mobile performance and how you can troubleshoot this.
EE Broadband comes with the choice of a 24-month or 12-month minimum term, there are no Pay As You Go or no-contract options with fixed-line broadband on EE.
Any discounts from being a Broadband and Mobile customer would come via EE One, where exclusive Mobile offers are available to upgrade to when your existing plan is eligible for upgrade, and you will get an immediate Unlimited Data Boost to your current plans over £10pm when taking EE Broadband. https://ee.co.uk/ee-one
You would be best to go through your current EE online account to purchase this, as this will ensure your accounts are correctly linked.

The coverage and service levels in a particular location are what they are - outwith a new site being built, or capacity being added to existing ones, there is no magic wand to provide coverage where there isn't any, Service is often better on higher floors and/or near windows
Not sure what you're asking about contract lengths & PAYG, but there are discounts for taking mobile & fixed-line services together.

I apologize if I am not explaining my questions clear enough. I am asking about inexpensive options for improving HOME broadband and a short-term contract. Thank you for your answer.

Hey @NatSid76.
Welcome to the EE Community 😊
With home broadband, like @Matt_124 mentioned a contract-free option isn't really something that we offer.
This is available with mobile broadband, but if your signal isn't the best then that is very unlikely to be an option that works.
If you're only in this location for a short amount of time, you are able to switch the address of your broadband contract when you move, though.
