How do I edit the nickname of my location?

I originally named it “My Home” but I want to change it back to my actual to my address.

Yes, I believe so, @DDickie.

Which provider are you with?

Chris

These messages are sent to any EE customer who registers for them.

It sounds like you also used to be an EE customer but now that you're not, you won't be able to make any changes to your config online.

Thanks, @DDickie.

We can definitely leave the alerts set up, but we can't amend it to a different name and you can only register for a new alert with an EE Mobile number.

That’s a shame. Unfortunately EE is more expensive.

Incidentally, I didn’t have an EE number when I registered!

Only my broadband and land-line are provided by EE.

Regards, Richard

The differing levels of service & add-ons you have access to, is something you need to factor in when comparing providers.

It's the extras where MVNO's often fall down compared with a network operator direct.

What’s a MVNO?

Mobile Virtual Network Operator - a telecoms provider who doesn't have a physical network of their own but a wholesale agreement with an MNO (Mobile Network Operator)

Thanks for the explanation.
