Hi,
I'm on EE with a Samsung A90 5G phone, yet in 2 years I've never once had a 5G signal. I live in a supposed good 5g reception area.
My phone settings should be set up for it (Network mode set to 5g/4g/3g). Do I need a special 5g SIM? Or something else I'm missing?
Thanks,

Assuming your not on PAYG, How Old is your Contract?, most Pay Monthly Contracts include 5G, but some older were 4G Only, so could be that you are on a 4G Contract.
Look online or App at your Plan or give CS a call on 150 or 0800 956 6000.

On my account it just says EE SIM Plan 50gb. I've had the plan since 2019, the A90 5g I got 2 years ago, it's a used one I bought from CEX.
I'll give EE a call, thanks.

Yea, sounds like a 4G Plan, most Newer Plans have 5G mentioned in the Plan Tittle or something like Access to 5G under the Plan Details, good luck.
