Safer SIM - can't call/be called or text out

Hi, we got a Saver SIM on an iphone but the number can't be called, calling out we get a message saying "Calls to this number can not be connected" no matter what number we dial. Messages do arrive, texting out only seems to work to certain numbers (it's not a security setting on the phone, I've checked that). What is the issue here?

Contract Safer SIMs are designed to include unlimited calls and texts as standard, so this is definitely odd.

Can you please try sending a text with AL to 150 and let me know what comes back?
